Sunday Mise en Place (Oct. 24 to 30, ‘016)

This is the Sunday Mise en Place, a weekly round-up of all that is going on in the Green Onion garden.  This will be the last such post for a couple weeks as I throw my hat into the NaNoWriMo game, hopeful to return as soon as possible.  It has been a busy week as I filled up the blog with 9 posts, mostly cause I will be missing it.  Which is a good thing, because it will push me to complete my 50k word goal next month.  Anyways lets have a look at what is going on….
Whats Going On-
Halloween!  That’s what’s going on.  Of course my little chives are excited for the big event and they look adorable; Zyler as the Hylian video game legend, Link, and Alex depicting all that is Harley Quinn.  It should be a great night, especially when I collect my fee of all the Reese’s.
Finally, the Green Onion Blog has a Facebook page.  That is big news and I hope you can all come check out the page and join in the fun.  Welcome to all of my friends, family and new followers, this blog has been my baby project for near six months and it is full of great stuff for you to enjoy now.  As I will be taking a short hiatus in November, I will be featuring stock articles on the Facebook page throughout the month.
As for my NaNoWriMo preperation… meh.  I could be more ready, but it should go smooth.  I have a few articles ready for the blog, and through overwhelming support there should be as many as 5 or 6 guest posts in the next few weeks.  No schedule has been set for these posts, so keep an eye out, should be rad!

Last Weeks Posts-

  • Psychopathic serial killers was the theme for Tuesdays top 10.
  • Finding picture books that are not too scary for the little sprouts can be a challenge, be sure to check my list for the scariest night of the year.

Just two planned posts this week as November hits.  Tomorrow will be the last of regular scheduled programing, with the conclusion of a very Halloween trilogy.  And, if you frequently follow the blog, you should know the one article at the beginning of the month that I cant go without.
Thanks booknerds, see you at the end of 50000 words!

All the best with NaNoWriMo! I can’t wait to read some of the guest posts! I’m doing NaBloPoMo myself, so I’ll be looking at ALL the blog posts for some inspiration 🙂
