Happy Sunday, and thanks for always coming back to the Mise en Place. After a rough time last week, this week has been mostly about settling things down in life and getting back on track. Thankfully, I feel much better. Anyways, there isn’t much to touch on this week but, thanks again for sticking with me through this quiet blogging season, and I will give back with a big week here. So, let’s get into what’s going on-
What’s Going On-
So, all those Canadian news articles I have been writing for Daily Tings have been dropping on the Facebook. It has been a bit crazy, with one article hitting over 54,000 shares. I even caught my local radio station quoting one of these articles. It’s pretty sweet to be hitting a broad audience, and I am excited to see what comes out of it. For now, I’m loving reading all of the random Facebook comments.
I finally caught Black Panther last night, and it was absolutely worth the hype. It easily sneaks into my top 5 MCU films thus far. Such a good villain, rad soundtrack, and a solid story. Last Week’s Posts-
- Finally, there was a solid episode of Our Cartoon President. I hope we get more stories like this one, check out my review here.
- I also threw down a throwback review on Ralph Bakshi’s ‘Wizards’. A classic animation from some talented artists, including a young pre-Star Wars Mark Hamill.
- Here is a link to Daily Tings where I have been writing mostly. The Olympics have been a priority a bit, especially this heartfelt piece I had to get out after the women’s gold medal hockey game.
This week on the Green Onion Blog things will be good. I have a special comic review, Must See movies in March, and a pop culture history lesson, at the least. As well as my regular work on Bubbleblabber and Daily Tings. I have been getting busy but, it’s all settling in now. Again, thanks for sticking with me through it all.
