5 Must See Movies in April ‘018

With today marking the official release of Ready Player One, nobody really cares about what flicks are dropping in April.  Oh, wait!  A last-minute move by the Marvel Cinematic Universe has suddenly made the 27th the most important date in the cinematic calendar.  Set for a May date, the culmination of all those Marvel movies we’ve been consuming, made a switch recently to squeeze Avengers: Infinity War into the end of April.

Can you tell that I am excited?

No, not yet?  Well here is my list of the five must-see films for April ‘018:

Avengers: Infinity War

The first Avengers movie was a jaw-dropping superhero movie like none other.  It marked the first major crossover event of the still young MCU.  The Avengers suffered from a bit of a sophomore slump with Age of Ultron, but as the roster has seen significant expansion since then, chances are Infinity War will be at the top of the trilogy.

Since fans were first amazed by 2008’s Iron Man film, we have gone through 18 Marvel titles, and not one of them was a complete disappointment- unlike that other company.  The next Avengers film promises to be the culmination of everything we know about the MCU thus far.  You are not going to want to miss this.

A talking mouse has been adopted by a loving family.  However, the family pet, a disgruntled old cat, does not appreciate the new house guest.  In a series of adventures, these animals learn to care for one another, and the Little family is better for it.  Oh wait, that’s the synopsis for 1999’s Stewart Little.  Watch Avengers.

By now you have probably fallen in love with at least one Marvel superhero.  Whether it’s Hulk, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Groot, or any of the Guardians of the Galaxy, this April will be your chance to see them on the big screen once more.  Some of these characters meeting for the first time is enough to make this a memorable cinema moment.

All jokes aside, Infinity War is on its way.  We are about to enjoy a moment that none of us could have dreamed of as children.  From the announcement of this massive multi-movie endeavour, this was the movie at the end of the enjoyable rainbow.  It gives me chills thinking about it.

Can you tell I’m excited, now?  And yes, my recommendation is to go see Infinity War five times in April.
