Ah, Forrest Gump. One of my favorites. Interesting note: During that same July of 1994 that Forrest Gump was released, True Lies and The Mask were released in the following weeks. It was a HUGE July at the box office for movies. Love these Pop Culture History blogs by the way!

Thanks. That is a huge month, and that was back when drive-ins were still a thing. I remember seeing Forrest Gump tucked into my moms mini-van, I don’t recall what the other feature was, but if it was The Mask, that was a good night.

SHARK WEEK!!! 😀 I love shark week. I usually stay stuck on Nat Geo channel almost the entire week.
